College is a time to develop lasting friendships and meaningful relationships. Panhellenic members share great moments and challenges during their college years. Having a support system of sisters eases the transition to post-graduate life, and gives members a family away from home!

Service is very meaningful to our Panhellenic members. We work with Circle of Sisterhood to help provide educational opportunities for women across the world who are facing poverty and oppression. We are also given many opportunities to participate in community service and work directly with each chapters’ individual philanthropies to raise money and awareness for these charitable organizations. Panhellenic encourages everyone to give back to those around us!

Developing strong leaders is an important part of Panhellenic involvement. There are so many ways to be a leader in the Panhellenic community, Greek community, and Rutgers community. Our president goes above and beyond to be an empathetic leader in all of our communities and her hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you Michaela, and the rest of our leaders, for everything you do!

Phi Mu at Rutgers University
In celebration of Leadership day for Panhellenic’s ritual week we would like to give a shoutout to someone very special to us, Liane our chapter president! She shows us a lot of great leadership skills each and every day. Here’s a little message from Liane! “I never would have thought that I’d become President. I used to be shy and scared to share my voice. Over these past two year of being in Phi Mu, I’ve grown so much as a person and I only have my sisters to thank. They supported me and gave me the confidence and motivation to do what I never thought I’d be able to do. Being President has been an amazing experience so far. It’s not always easy, but at the end of the day, I know all my sisters are there to support me and that makes it all worth it.” ✨⭐️ #leadership #rutgerspanhellenic #ritualweek

It's Rutgers Panhellenic Ritual Week! Today's reflection: leadership. Brinley, our amazing president, reflects on the influence of greek life! "Being involved in Greek life has helped me grow so much at Rutgers. I’ve been able to meet so many intelligent, creative and passionate women in my chapter and the Panhellenic community who inspire me everyday. Through ΑΩΕ I’ve been lucky enough to serve as Panhellenic delegate, Vice President and president of our chapter. I know that without Greek life I would have never gained the knowledge or experience of working with so many different types of people while forming bonds and gaining leadership experience." Thank you for all of your hard work

Academic excellence is a vital aspect of the Panhellenic community. The Panhellenic sororities have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.5 for membership, but our members have exceeded that minimum by achieving an average GPA of 3.414 during the Fall 2017 semester. We also offer scholarship opportunities and membership into National Academic Greek Honor Societies. Scholarship is important to each chapter and to the entire Greek community as a whole!
